buddy you had me until you said "behaviors are based on emotions not logic" LOL think about that for a minute. Behaviors? How can you make such a general statement? Behaviors are based on both logic AND emotions, depending on the circumstances. Those who act on pure emotions are mentally weak and generally they are the obese ones. Those who act (behave) out of logic AND emotions are mentally stronger and can resist junk food. The enemy is our society. Our weak lazy good for nothing society.

furthermore, your premise is flawed. Children do not buy food. Parents buy the food for them. So all the clowns and playgrounds in the world will not "trick" a child since the child does not pay the tab. Now if the parents are dumb enough to feed their kids transfatty fast foods because there was a "brightly colored clown" involved, well then those parents were too simple minded to begin with (and hence ought to be executed)

well i dont let my kids run my life like so many other parents. I treat them like... well kids. If my kid whines and begs for something i just laugh and say no. I they want to act like a brats well then they get no TV for a week. Its a pretty simple idea. They have to learn they cant have everything they ask for.

If your a guy I bet you easily pick up a magazine with a less clothed girl on it then one with a picture of a tree. Or a magazine that has "SEX" on the front page, or "SHOCK" "SEXY" "DISTURBING" "NUDE". Why would anyone choose these over others? It's because they are being brainwashed to do so, on adults the word "sex" is the key to trigger interest. Almost all magazines have "SEX" on the front page.

i agree advertisements tease us and give us alot of thoughts, but the actual eating or sex or any action, can only be triggered by ourself.
with enough will, advertisements won't have any effect.

You certainly haven't studied psychology, or observed peoples action, interaction with others and how they respond to stuff. Sex is not triggered by ourselves CONSCIOUSLY, it's a biological impulse that can be provoked by very simple means such as imagery and words. Even with will, why is it so hard for some to stop smoking. If you think we have a powerful will then you are frighteningly mistaken. Example; What kind of mask did/do you wear when your at school, no free will there.

What I'm trying to say is that even if I want sex, I don't automatically hump the first female i see.Surely commercials could consciously or unconsciously make you want something and make it harder not to eat, but they can't stuff the food in your mouth.
Every kid has to be told they can't have anything they want. Nobody should allow themselves to give in to every single urge they might have.

It also produces a sense of self reward, so consequently, its quite common for people to go to McDonalds after work, school etc because it creates an artificial feel good factor, but realistically, who feels good after eating a McDonalds? It just makes you feel sluggish and depressed.
