About the music;
Used with permission, copyright 2004, "It's not Fair" is the sixth and final track on the self titled 2004 debut release from Caesar Kellogg. A haunting album of personal lyrics and captivating sounds.
After working closely with the recording artist for a few years, I can honestly say that he is the most talented person I have ever met. A renowned freelance and professional painter, sculptor, and musician.
Caesar Kellogg has even been so kind as to appear in two of our previous videos, and shows interest in becoming a regular face in our presentations. We cannot thank him enough for his contributions, and for allowing us to use his music for our videos.
For serious inquires regarding purchase information of Caesar Kellogg compact discs, please contact us via the YouTube messenger service. C.D.s are $5.00 plus $2.50 shipping and handling and can be mailed anywhere in the continental U.S. Please note that these are studio recorded, factory manufactured C.D.s that will ship in a clear slim line jewel case, without cover art, as none was ever produced. At this time, the recording is not available for purchase through any other outlet.
We are always looking for up-and-coming musicians to expose in our videos. If you, or someone you know would be interested in granting permission for us to use their music in future productions, please contact us through the YouTube messenger service. Thank you.
About the video;
I prefer to aerate as opposed to verticutting, for the simple fact that aerating really gives the seed a place to go. Personally, I have never used a verticutter that did little more that scratch the surface. The compost covers the seed, and provides much needed nutrients throughout the next growing season. The hay, or straw, helps to reduce erosion and provides a bit of shelter for the germinating seed as it develops.
Three cameras were used in photographing this video. A Sony HandyCam was used for the moving video scenes. A Kodak Easy Share DX 7590 digital camera was used for the overhead still images once a day, for almost two weeks as the new grass pushed up through the straw. Finally, a Nikon Cool Pix 8700 digital was used for all of the time lapse shots, including several thousand pictures of grass growing that make up the high speed time lapse scenes. The video was edited using Ulead Video Studio 11 available from Corel Software.
Thank you for watching, and as always, Enjoy!

The straw helps. I also recommend "pen coated" seed. Apparently, it tastes bad.
Good luck with your project!
