I'm on part 3 and so far there haven't been any good predictions at all. contrary to what they are saying, real estate is not a good investment at all for the next 3 years.

roqueweapon, you are obviously a "Loser" Now is the time to buy with Real Estate pretty much being given away due to the economy and increase of forclosures. Buy Buy Buy folks, buy cheap housing rent them out. There are 3 channels of income from rentals. Equity...Appriciation...Cashflow. Someone makes your payment, this builds equity. Your property increases in value (appriciates) and you have money in hand left over after making all the payments on your propeties (cashflow) Go Get Em!!!

you're rich? well you can be my daddy. I just stated an opinion. What's silly about that? I think all the Rich Dad staff, with the exception of Robert, came off as used car salesmen. Kim had nothing to offer, her prediction for 2008 is to do her homework better. The 1 thing is agree with is GOLD baby! you can take that to the bank.

I've never gone to a Rich Dad seminar, but I've read 3 of his books and found them 90% motivational and 10% hard applicable knowledge. Every product of his left me feeling unsatisfied with more questions than answers.
He is right about the value of financial education, that's superb advice. But educate yourself.

please somebody help. I am 19 so I am starting out and Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad makes it seem that I can be rich and I want it so badly but I am not sure who to listen to. Is Kiyosaki a scam artist or is he for real? Where should i look to educate myself on money matters without going broke?

He is real. I have met many successful ex-employees who start their own business or investment and now live comfortable lifestyle based on his advice.
But WAIT! Don't go out and invest yet!
Kiyosaki's books are actually the BEGINNING OF THE BEGINNING! He's just trying to convince people to invest or start a business, which is a good advice. But, in order to do that, you'll need A LOT of things to learn! It's like going to school all over again.

Wow.. the real answer to that can take a whole encyclopedia to write. :p
Well, I can advise one person on what to do if I meet that person on a regular basis, but I can't give the answer in one just paragraph.
The best I can tell you is join a RichDad club (look in the website), hang out with the already successful ones, and learn from them. Remember: there is 1001 path to financial independence. You only need to pick 1-3 of them, then study hard and train hard in that 1-3 things.
