The weird thing about this video is that all those girls were really pretty, not just personality wise or they had thoughtful opinions but even physically, they were all pretty...and I seriously mean that.

I agree...The Unilever corporation (Parent company of these brands) is very hypocritical. They make these ads showing you that everyone is beautiful in there own special ways, but in turn they make ads (i.e. AXE and Degree) that are very shallow.

Dove is not making their ads out of any true sense of social consciousness or moral responsibility, they are doing it because it's a trendy way to earn money and get a new base for their product, just like all the companies 'going green' to increase their customer base. Profit, profit, all words and hype, no substance. But I still admire some of the ads and hope they have a positive impact.

If you have a good relationship with your mom or guardian, you should talk to them about this with the school counselor. She is suppose to be supportive of the children but she sounds like a careless dumbass. She should know how to talk to kids and apparently this one doesn't. Seriously, she needs to be reprimanded. I'm not saying fired, but she needs good talking to and perhaps more training. Don't feel bad about yourself, your counselor sounds like she has issues of her own.

i always felt pretty before, alot of people said so until i saw images of women in magazines i felt insulted because my arms and legs are rounded and i'm flat chested. that's the first time i felt really badly for myself and the boys who i'm with um highly patronize these women who are enhanced by media.. they even keep wallpapers on their phones yknow.. they dont even pay attention to you anymore.
