lol u shud actually look up neonode.
they were the first to use sweeping gestures to scroll tru menus, and slide to unlock! (more gestures than iphone!, sweep to scroll, confirm, decline, close window, open options, call, end call, open menu...). i wud say they hv a more responsive touchscreen than iphone, but more complicated UI. most touchscreen phones r alike: a big screen with v few/no buttons so its hard to say which was 1st. it wasnt prada bcos there were full touchscreen phones way b4 it.

im srry, but u might wanna be a little more respectful when u talk, especially if u dunno anything watsoever about the topic
the thing is, the palm pilot was not a FULL touch screen phone...plus, the touch sensitivity was not enough to manipulate with fingers...it was considered more of a PDA-type portable computer/ planner and not a PHONE
the phone feature was only considered to be an addition.
so, the palm pilot wasnt considered a FULL touch screen PHONE...

Definitely not talking its kind of a keyboard with text :) no your right that was rude, all im saying is the touch screen isn't new and the phone was an addon at first them the treo came out in '02. Apple added some innovations like the sliding but nothing totally new, and really its not a touch screen its heat sensitive so it acts like a touch pad.
