love this movie. i loved the book a lot, too. the book was very clever and satirical, and had so many more elements to it that the movie left out. the graphic killing scenes escalate in grotesqueness as the book progress, eventually becoming too much for me to read. so i skimmed tastefully over the worst of it. definitely read the book. it's a masterpiece!

nobody could have pulled this role off better than bale. they wanted tom cruise or leo decaprio for this, but i think theyre good in their own way, in certain types of movies. they could not have done this better than bale. btw i just finished the book and it is graphic as hell and discusting. good stuff

i think the only other way to pull this book off graphically would be to make an animation of some kind since the book is so graphic in the way the horrors are explained. i was a little bit disappointed since this film is so short and harmless compared to the book. but christian bale pulls it off so it´s still my favorite movie. yeah!
