I think it was your typical "hostile takeover really small clauses" deal, Now that Ea was in charge, money making became top priority and artistic integrity was pushed aside, thats why there was a massive layout or retierment wave. I think....

And all those little things "comamnd school" and battlecast" to advertise...like who needs that? I really think they should focus on teh games themselves and not on the promotion shell. Besides speaking on artistic integrity...we already hear at the new "Tiberium" trailer the character says "...Fighing for tiberium..." an attempt to twist facts for promotion. We are not fighing for it! we are trying to get rid of it!

another example is the interview with one of the had designers who stated "Its not set in the C&C universe, its set in the tiberium universe". I almost threw a chair at the screen. Should I feel worried if he is in charge?, Oh and dont forget the recent "Mobile C&C", as a C&C hardcore fan I wouldnt mind to have it by my side all the time but still it kinda screams advertisment and money making.

As to Tiberium(fps) could it not be that it's set between C&C and TS? At the point, people hadn't realised the dangers Tiberium comes with as much, and did just fight to control it. You're right though, it's all just a case of "how much money can we flog out of THIS franchise?"

as for Tb: You suggest maybe in the 11 years between C&C 3 and Tiberium they gave up trying to get rid of it and try to control it?, maybe but wouldn't it had been logical taht if taht happaned that nod would control teh world and fight the scrin? or simply the guy they interviewed is dumb.

A point for consideration: after Firestorm GDI cracked the Tacitus and discovered Tb's Harmonic resonance frequency therefore found the mean to destroy it. The sonic technology for taht was only perfected near C&C 3's events and those only delayed GDI worldwide massive Tb eradication campaign, SO It'll eb kinda weird if they found the cure and abandoned it.
