Interesting that in the 70s the buzz was cooling then 80s it was a huge hole in the ozone that would kill us all - then we morphed to global warming - of course all of the past turned out to be not true and never discussed again
already we are dropping the GW and substituting climate change because the warming trends stopped - each myth lasts about 10 yrs and morphs into the next disaster

Anyone interested less in refereeing YouTube arguing than in understanding the evidence underlying warming driven by CO2 and other carbon emissions can find details in the literature (GRL, JGR, PNAS, J. Climate, etc.), but can also Google web sources as a start - "Global Warming" for a wikipedia overview plus references, "Greenhouse Effect" for basic physics, "Climate Book" for a mathematicaly rigorous analysis, and "Lean Rind 2008" for a recent paper with model-independent confirmatory data.

My view is that global warming is happening. There is a warming/cooling cycle that has been proven to appear in Earth's lifetime for hundreds of billions of years, where the planet has gotten warmer, then colder, and all over again. We can't stop this change! It's going to happen, you can't do a thing to stop it. However, you can lessen the blow by polluting less and taking steps towards cleaning up the environment. Shit may hit the fan, but you can reduce the spread.

The pattern is typical of the ups and downs frequently seen during the past decades of CO2-driven warming. Eric - CO2-driven warming is universally recognized in the science literature. It's your right to accuse all those scientists of attempting to destroy society, but what I regret is the enormous waste of time arguing we're not dangerously warming the planet, because all nations, following the lead of science, have committed themselves to CO2 mitigation. What they're arguing about is how best to do it, and if any of us hope to have our voices heard, it's the "how to" question we should address.

AngryAussie is the YouTube user covering all these comments here and in many other global warmming videos. He has anywhere from 7 to 13 YouTube accounts with which he does this. He also uses these accounts to send many, many complaints to YouTube about the people who post comments he does not like.
These comments are not being covered by several people. It is all done by one person, AngryAussie. You can see him in video here in YouTube since he has made many videos of himself.

I'm nowhere near the pacific and this has been the coolest fall I can remember - I think this is why people are now using climate change instead of global warming
