The reason that decision was taken was because these callers keep asking for credits. It's cheaper to let them go off their contracts than keep giving them $75 credits per month because they use the internet on their phones and they keep denying it.

for your info I have 3 lines with sprint and have internet/blocked on all. Funny thing is every month the bill shows 2500kb casual internet usage every month. The real kicker is the casual usage keeps getting billed to a different one of my numbers each month.

Not to doubt you, but I work with Sprint. I know that customers always say that they didn't use it, that they blocked it. But most of the time, you just removed the vision plan, leaving the internet capability enabled. Specially with EVDO phones. I suggest you call Cust Care and ask to remove the NAI. They will understand what you are speaking of. At least a rep worth your time will.

thanks. i reallly think there is a problem with their billing codes or something. one of the phones I own is not used at all,never has been and is sitting on my dresser as i type this. as far as the cust care i am pretty muched bummed out do to constant billing errors. and when i call to ask about it they remove the charges minus taxes/fees/ but only under the conditino that i renew for another year. I just signed up with sprint in sep 07 and i am not to be let out of the plans until jan 2011.

That sounds kinda exaggerated. Contracts are 2 yr at most, unless you are in an old corporate contract. So at most, you would be getting out on 2010. But I know what you mean. In fact, some times it's not true that you must renew, it's that your account is modeled for a promotion with a 2 year renewal. And if the rep manages to get you into that contract, he gets paid a sales commission.

yea I figured there would be a commission. But I felt that I would need phone service from someone. I have had a cell phone for the past 15 years. So why not sprint? As long as they keep taking care of me they can extend my contract for another 15 years.

I wish more companies did this!!! Imagine a world in which complainers refused business and had to look at themselves and realize "you know, I might be taking things too far." There are cronic complainers, who call over and over again to all companies. Put them in their place, let's take them down!!!! Way to go Sprint!!!! Although I feel sorry for the company that got them next. LOL

wow...no wonder...and the only reason why those customers were let go was because it was more beneficial for our loyal good paying customers to get the help they so much needed...handling those customer that called in for credits and would take time from agents and made other customers with serious issues wait for a longer period of time...

The people that were cancelled called about 2-3 times daily & never would pay their bill & weren't worth the air they breathed, fuck sprint & fuck the low class customers they have. Get Verizon Wireless & be happy with great cell/customer service, but if your credits bad, you gotta go prepay or sprint.

your right, we did say to alot of our complaining custs that, hey.. maybe this relationship just aint working out... its funny how you think these people that called in complaining time after time again, wont go do that with another carrier... and the iPhone... theres a great idea! they came out with the phone with all the hype and didnt release the real phone until we came out with our Instinct which is way better in all categories & costs less! you go ahead there smart guy, good luck with that
