Ya know, I'm glad you're amazing musician, really, I've played guitar hero for almost 3 years, because I never was introduced to a real guitar or anything like that. I have an electric guitar, and I'm not gonna say I just can't play it, because I could, but im just an unmotivated 14 year old. I really wish my parents showed me a guitar younger.
And I don't feel cool at all playing it, it's just somethin I do, it's just a hobby

i'm not an amazing musician? i'm just passionate? i'll turn 16 tomorrow and i have a great amount of (for my age) expensive gear. i play acoustic,electric and 12 string guitar,bass,drums and percussion. i save all my money to buy instruments. i've started playing when i was 13,bought stuff with my OWN money. my parents never supported me any in that,so? dude,i'm just saying.. ? don't feel so fucking offended if you're not one of those poser geeks.

Good for you that you are a multi talented musicial genius, a lot of people would like to be able to play an instrument but don't have any natural ability and could spend every penny they earnt and still never be any good, so let them enjoy playing their game, if they want to think it's a real guitar or drum kit let them, THAT'S KINDDA THE POINT

I just don't get why musicians get so insecure about kids banging on plastic drums? It's not like you see NFL players getting all bent because kids are playing Madden. Tiger Woods doesn't seem to take it personal if you play his game instead of play a few rounds for real. But it seems like musicians' egos get all out of wack when Rock Band or Guitar Hero gets mentioned. Get real instruments? Sure, but the price differential is huge. Plus I'm guessing most parents wouldn't appreciate real drums.

Not any good ones that I've met. Hell most musicians who I know PLAY rock band (I'm in a music degree plan, so I do know a few).
