Who gives us that right?
Our duty?
Please the facade of duty is blown away when you see how interventions are cherry picked to serve American interests. Of course if your then motivated by self-interest it becomes harder. Factor in the complexities and un-intended consequences the idea of policing the world becomes more and more morally, philosophically and realistically dangerous and foolish.
2) It is our primary duty to secure our interests. If we have the means to secure the Middle East, then we should. Morals? Who said anything about morality?
And my opinion would be.
YOU ARE WRONG.
See how that works?
Life and liberty are natural rights but NATURAL RIGHTS can be taken away by force.
Why would we need to secure the middle east? They weren't even a part of 9/11. They had nothing to do with 9/11.
So if you have the means to invade another country...then you should? How is that not violating their right to run their own government?
