Uploaded by: Rockabrotas
Video Description:
As a pianist, "The Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis always complained because he had to sit down during his shows. Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash suggested him to stand up. Jerry Lee accepted their advice. So he started to kick the chairs, to go up on the keyboards and even to burn pianos.

What do you mean a one trick pony?
His career has spanned pretty much every type of music- rock, country, soul, jazz, blues, pop, r'n'b, dixieland. Artists need to be versatile to survive and Jerry is the best example I can think of surviving- decades. First public performance was 1949 first recordings 1952 latest record release 2009.Sixty year career.
