As an American, the invasion of Iraq was mostly our fault, but the U.K. could have been a better friend and said "what the hell are you thinking?" Blair should have told us that he would not send his soldiers to die and that he would lend legitamncy to a horrible mistake on our part.

excuse me? depend on America pressure Israel? Israel voted for the 2 state solution over and over since 1993 at least. ask the palestinians if they agree to the two state solution. Al jazeera and frost and blare are a bunch of liars . lucky with democracy you can go year by year to see what the Israelis voted. we will create a two state solution if the palestinians like or not. even if we will have to leave in a one sided move like in Gaza.

Tony Blair said with the same earnestness he is speaking here that Britain must attack Iraq because it has a secret and successful program developing weapons of mass destruction.
Here again with great moral earnestness, he says that the reason Britain attacked Iraq was to get rid of the terrible Saddam Hussein who killed more people than the allies killed in their conquest of Iraq.

So many people forget the reason we went into war, on September 11th the terrorism in Iraq became our business when we were attacked. We had to do something, we couldn't just sit back and do nothing at that point. September 11th was a day that changed everything.

i do not believe that there were any iraqis involved in sept 11th attacks. president bush said as much. the reason given for the war in iraq was that saddam hussein had an ongoing weapons progam with the hope of creating wmd. now that was proven to be false, the terrorist connections between iraq and al qaeda proposed by dick cheney also proved false. whether president bush believed it or not doesn't absolve him of guilt. with that said, i saw your profile and you have excellent taste in music.
