How knowledgeable are Microsoft representatives? Well, I used the Gizmo Project to make a call and find out! After the nine minutes of hold music (and no, I'm not exaggerating), I finally got through to a sales rep. It's a little slow but eventually comes to the point. I claimed that I was about to buy a new computer (I made this call from my new computer, a MacBook) and that I needed help deciding between Windows and Mac. Here's what happened...

She actually did a great job I think. As far as I noticed she didn't tell any lies, neither about Microsoft's Windows, nor about Apple's Mac. I mean she can't know much about Macs (because she should try to sell Windows perhaps) but she tried to give you the best answer possible.

Well if your considering buying a windows computer.. um..searching the internet safely.. can be and issue with windows.. but ummm... if you have all of your antivirus software upto date, um.... you have minal chance of getting a virus... with mac you simply just dont get virus's!
