have you listened to Umphrey's McGee before? If you think this is what they are all about, you are SORELY mistaken. From time to time they like to bust out covers, no matter how silly, and pull them off quite well. This was a NYE show and they were having a little fun. I don't see the need to be so critical. These guys are all very accomplished, ambitious musicians. So until you actually shell out the money and see them live and listen to their extensive catalog, please shut up.

1. i would hesitate to call umph "pop icons" or compare them to Lance Bass, they are far different, a band that truly plays music that they love even if it isnt the kind that will make them really rich or famous
