Tender engines done in trainz. This story is from the 23rd book of the railway series by Rev. W. Awdry. The book was called "Enterprising engines" and the story was originally called "Tenders for Henry".
Britt Allcroft changed the story from having the visitor (the Flying Scotsman) coming to the railway to help bring Gordan out of his depression of the abolishment of steam engines, to him being a random visiting engine. In the story Gordan and the Flying Scotsman are "brothers" if that is the right term, (Engines of the same design and drawn at the same time) Gordan was depressed about him and the Flying Scotsman being the last 2 of their class (A3 of H.N. Gresley design), having lost all others to scrap. So to cheer him up the Fat Controller arranged for the Flying Scotsman to visit sodor to see Gordan.
