Who is this guy? He tries to come off as knowledgeable, but sounds immature. Words like "crap" should not lead off a business presentation. Additionally, low-budget porn-movie lighting and Goodwill-provided attire further convince me that ANGRYMAKER is just a snake-oil salesman. I will be staying away from this person, and I suggest each of you do the same.

ultimately yeah, more relative links will build your sites page rank but you need to use meta tags in the back of your site correctly, particularly the title, description and abstract sections in the source of your page.
and you need to have plenty of relevant content, highlighting primary keywords you want to be found under without spamming, site maps will also help and links on your page leading to other pages will also build page rank, never put "click here" always put the "product name"!

Just posting social media links is not enough, those links are archived and lose value fast, I have tested this many times in controlled experiments.
Long term structural contextual links you have to work hard to find are what count.
