My heart goes out to him. I know it was two years ago, but still, it's hard losing someone. I know it would be horrible for me if I lost my dad, because he and I share such a bond.

It took courage for him to get in front of the world and talk about his father. And it took strength to fight back the emotion. I only thought I liked him! After seeing this, he's now my favorite person second only to my dad.

That took some guts to do a show right after he lost his father. I felt so sorry for him and know he is full of heart and wit. It reminded me the time Brett Favre's dad passed away and played on a Monday night beating my Oakland Raiders. But I was proud of Brett and his perfomance that night was incredible under a heavy heart.

I watched and as he spoke I knew exactly what he was feeling. Not even necessarily by his words but by his eyes too. You can see his heart broken in his eyes even when he's not crying. You can tell that he didn't do this for himself- because you can tell this took so much out of him. He did it for his dad. Anybody who has lost a loved one can't watch this without feeling something.
I don't recall when I've ever been so moved by anything. And it was so, so real. You can't act that.
