The truth is our industrial base is gone because it was replaced with the prison industry ... no more will we see our young having jobs where they can buy a cool car or get ahead. Why does our govt condone killing jobs in America and the promotion of manufacturing criminals?

I went to one of these youth detention programs and I saw some fucked up shit. Most people in their were indicted when they were 14 years old which means that they would remain in detention facilities until they are over 21.

step two: don't break the law.
upon ignoring these two, begin to look at factors which create individuals who have landed themselves in prison such as inept parenting. yes, unfortunate terrible things happen in prison, but that is expected. in many areas of life there are breakdowns of what "should" happen. do your best to teach children how to behave and live.

I don't want to hear about hopelessness here in the USA. My family is from Jamaica, and there's REAL poverty and disadvantages there!!! USA's kids are spoiled and don't know better.
If the parents are so OUTRAGED, they should have done a better of job of demonstrating & enforcing discipline so those "poor" kids wouldn't have ended up there. A little tough love early in life might SAVE a life.
