Although I agree with most of that, I thought I'd add something. Not only had Mythic already made an MMO they also had so much more lore and such to base WAR online on. But at the same time I believe part of the reason WoW took longer was the fact that Bliz is full of perfectionists. I think WAR could have done with a bit more time in the making. Its good, but a bit glitchy. And Dark age of Camelot wasn't THAT popular,there were bigger MMOs. Evercrack anyone?

I don't believe the release date. They've thrown one around every year, and they always cancel it. The original release date was 2002!!! And no beta of any kind before release? You CAN'T produce a good MMO like that. I mean, look at the gameplay video. It looks like everquest but with ships.

Actually, thats what they originally wanted to do. THQ decided to renew their license on it though when it expired a couple years ago, and Games Workshop let them.

I enjoy the Warhammer universe, particularly 40K. I think they did a great job with this game so far. The game just needs some polish, but it is off to a great start. Thank you Games Workshop!
