Saw them on this tour in Columbia SC with Jimmy Buffett and Andrew Gold...What a show!!Buffett was fabulous, and the Eagles absolutely tore the place down!! To be able to so accurately reproduce their studio sound in a large live setting speaks volumes for their musicianship, and their stage presence was phenomenal!! Their music will live on well past any of us mere mortals!

Just for the record, there was a time when I actually liked the Scorpions, but then I grew up, and realized that there are more than two chords, and the same boring, repetitive drum line. It was amazing that the Scorpions were able to forge such a profitable career from such a shallow well of talent, but then again, Klaus Meine's ego is much larger than his dwarfish self!! Spare us the insult of comparing such a one-dimensional band with legends like the Eagles.

WHat AM I on? well lets see. YEs The Eagles Greatest hits has sold more thean any album ever but as far as an individual album by a bdn, nothing I REPEAT NOTHING can touch Fleetwood Mac's Rumours. It was #1 on the album charts for almost 6 months in 1977 has sold 30 million copies worldwide, which is moe that Hotel California. Then you have THe Long RUn sn album with total dogshit on it like Teenage Jail, Disco Strangler. This is because Glenn(NO talent cokehead) Frey couldnt hack it anymore!

Oh and btw, as long as we're on the subject of Mr Glenn Frey, he basically only had one song on Hotel California, New Kid In Town, because he was so fried. Then on The Long Run, he had to beg his buddy Bob Seger to write HEartache Tonight because this "talent" had nothing left. WHAT A FUCKIN JOKE! Oh and then you have John McVie, Fleetwood Mac's bass player who would make Randy Meisner or Timothy B Schmidt wishing they had 1000th of his talent!
