maybe god doesn't force people to do these things, nor does he do it himself anymore (not like the genocidal warmonger he used to be) but he DID create us rite? he DID know everything but then made us wrong rite? he did that on purpose rite? he KNEW that ol' lionheart and chums would mistakenly kill in his name because he had made them so they couldn't understand the bible properly and thus would do loads of murder... or did god make a mistake? what happen?!?!?

For The Bible is based on Mythology and Analogy... Not reality (not literal)... that is why when tested against History, Science and even common sense, it just doesn`t make sense.

Understand that 95% of Humanity does not seem to know, that The Bible is chock-full of Allegories, Precepts and Analogies... Alas, as for those who fight for the cause, concerning the confusion of the scriptures as being inaccurate with historical loop holes and scientific nonsense, you are wasting your time convincing and conversing with persons with limited perceptions (Dogmas), in and of, understandings and realities ( Examples - them selves, the world, the universe and beyond )

The description says this is an accurate retelling, however it should be noted that Job wasn't "just okay" with his stuff getting taken and his children killed. He "cursed the day he was born" . That doesn't sound like he was "okay" with everything. Was he grieving and in pain? Yes of course, who wouldn't be. But he wasn't angry at God, that's the difference.

"God" ... you mean 'El Jehovah' or 'El Jahweh'?? Just that God is an ancient Germanic word that Job never heard implying a different form of divinity than an omnipotent being. God was, and is, an indigenous European concept so who was it that he spoke to.
(p.s. just being curious not inflamatory, its something I want to understand a bit better as I understand Old testment is different to new)

Good vid. Loved the format. A word about the fact that the almighty's boasts were mostly nonsense (for example, the waters didn't have "doors", winds are not "kept" in a "house" etc. would have been good, but I understand that would stretch the format a little.

I am not entirely sure what you mean as the difference between Jehovah or Yahweh. The most common words for God in the Hebrew are Elohim and YHWH (Yahweh when you add vowels).
I would suggest reading a book called Introduction to Biblical Literature by Reddish, Mussser, and Fant. This book will give you a fuller context of the Hebrew's understanding of God and the ancient near eastern culture in which they lived.
