everyone who is criticising this game, please play it first. im not that big into turn based mmo's either but this game is strangely addicting and fun, and its not to slow cause, well, play the game wit a bunch of freinds against an army...its epic.

im downloading this game atm, but im wondering. do i have to level up and buy skills like WoW? or do i have to put like skil points when i level up into special spells and talents. i know this game is free to play and all but is it "absolutely free?" OR does it have a cash shop where it takes money out of your pocket more than a p2p game? Please just answer this honestly. Btw i dont mind if this game only has cash shop for like style and stuff but if it gives an unfair advantages to other people im gone lol.

This game is exactly what I wanted when I first heard FFXI was coming out. Unfortunately Square Enix went the old MMORPG route instead of keeping with thier great battle system they already had set up. I would have to give this game a 8.5/10 just for the fact that it has some grinding in it. I hate grinding, if this game wasn't so great though I would've given it a 2 or 3, really good game though.

most ppl do see symphonia as the best but i only played abyss, but anyway he was only talking about the battle system not everything else, so abyss and vesperia conquer symphonia in terms of battle systems.
