I think that person was just trying to say that when they listen to the regular song, it sounds like it has a ton of notes in it and is almost impossible to play. But, SInce the song is so discordant and melodic at the same time, it's possible to ommit some of the thirds, fifths, and etc. That is why it still sounds like the real song even without ALL of the notes.

I don't know though. Either they're thanking me for trying hard chords or trying to slam me, but just for everyone's info, I play 5 keys simultaneously almost at all times.

it means the type of tone and sound an instrument makes. ie the timbre or an electric guitar is much different from the timbre of a spannish guitar
