A doctor at Duke University Medical Center has said the surgery was successful, and doctors had accomplished their goals. Kennedy was awake during the procedure -- and afterward told his wife that he felt 'like a million bucks' - and said 'I think I'll do that again tomorrow.' [Notes:animation video of brain]The cancer was found about two weeks ago, in Kennedy's left parietal lobe Experts say the surgery was risky, since that region of the brain also deals with speech and movement.
