These days self-educated people are the ones who become wealthy. I think Kiyosaki feels that the formal education environment doesn't train people for runaway entrepreneurial success the way self-education does. I went to college myself, but I learned how to make money in business through experience and the advice of good mentors.

Although I am not a Kiyosaki fan, I can see what he is saying. He says the education system is in need of an overhaul because it does not teach the skills needed for entrepreneurial success...true "street smarts"!!!
