I do not think you should be putting words into Lovecrafts mouth as to what he would agree or disagree with. NOBODY had or ever will have his insights. So who is to say for sure ? I am merely speaking with the experience of someone that has read everything he has ever written, including his museum stored poetry and love letters to his wife, as well as the correspondence to Clark Ashton smith and his other friends. I could be wrong :) But I will not put words into his mouth,

No. The scary thing about Cthulhu is that he appreciates diversity and people's presumptions. He laughs when people portray him a certain way because how could they possibly know anything about him when anyone who has ever seen him has either went insane or died immediately. Dread Cthulhu cares not about the insignificant, unsubstantial, inconsequential, petty worries of copyright infringement. He enjoys mankinds misperceptions and finds great comedy in the things man thinks are important.

you know...this is a perfect example of what metallica WAS. Their stuff today holds no light to what they use to be. They had a drive back then that got extinguished with age. The fire just died. There is no way they can reproduce this type of stuff: it would be too contrived. Gonna go download their discography...something i've avoided till now. fuck lars.

I take umbrage at such an erroneous and clearly unsupported spleen-venting.
In addition, I feel greatly compelled to sympathize with the previously asserted statement, namely that the number of Metallica songs that can be unfavorably likened to coprolithic matter is sadly pantagruelian.
They have but two gears- 'off' and 'full-force'. They manage to reach a midway point and keep that up for a minute and a half, but then it atavates for the remaining eight. To put this simply, it lacks control.
