When people withdraw from their accounts en masse then the banks can't pay. That's the ridiclousness of the situtation. They don't actually have the money. It's a confidence game.

You have to connect the dots. It goes farther back in time, more than Medieval times or ROman times.

Tribals are never as greedy for gold, as Europeans (who inherited their currency value from the Sumerians-not to mention the 12 & 60 time counts).
Gold may be scarce, but the extracting of it poisons the environment permanently, since arsenic is used, after which nothing grows.
